Monfort’s collaboration in the face of the Valencia inundation
The Castellón company Transportes Monfort, in coordination with the Castellón City Council, has collaborated with 10 vehicles from its fleet of trucks in the transfer of the aid received for those affected by the devastating Valencia flood. The company has been in permanent contact with the municipal corporation to organize the transfer of the material so that it reaches the affected people as quickly as possible. Likewise, from its headquarters in Benicarló, it has also collaborated with the City Council and the Benicarló Fallera Local Board in the sending of another truck with the aid material collected there.
Monfort thus joins the multitude of companies that have offered their help in the face of the tragedy caused by the torrential rains and inundations that have already left a high number of deaths in the province of Valencia.
Monfort‘s solidarity with major catastrophes has always been evident, as demonstrated in COVID’19, with the donation to the General Hospital of Castellón of 65 disposable insulating suits against toxic and bacteriological risks, or in the Amatrice earthquake, where it transported all the collected material to Italy free of charge to help those affected.
