Monfort receives Sustainability award at SIL 2026

The “Rail Logistics Europe” group, which includes Naviland Cargo, VIIA, and Captrain, among other companies, granted Transportes Monfort with the 2026 Sustainability Award at SIL (International Logistics Exhibition). Santiago Colom, Commercial Director of Monfort Logística, accepted the award on behalf of the company on Thursday, June 4th. Transportes Monfort was recognized for its commitment to sustainability.

Operating since 2007, the Lorry-Rail rail freight service connects Le Boulou (on the French-Spanish border) with Bettembourg (Luxembourg) with three round trips per day. This service crosses France with a direct daily connection, including weekends and holidays (even in summer). Transportes Monfort received the award for its use of VIA sustainable rail lines, a service that seeks a balance between economic growth and environmental protection.
