Transportes Monfort and Transportes Belda are once again collaborating with the 23rd Pe\u00f1\u00edscola International Jazz Festival 2026.<\/h2> \n\n\n

The Pe\u00f1\u00edscola International Jazz Festival celebrates its 23rd edition from July 2nd to 5th with a program that combines major international names in the genre, such as Michel Camilo<\/strong> and Thomas Enhco<\/strong>, with local acts and free concerts in the town.<\/p> \n\n

The event will once again feature eight concerts: four main performances at the Pe\u00f1\u00edscola Congress Palace<\/strong> and four free concerts in the Plaza de Santa Mar\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p> \n\n

The festival begins on Thursday, July 2nd<\/strong>, at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong> in Pla\u00e7a de Santa Mar\u00eda, with a free performance by Albert Bello & Oriol Sa\u00f1a<\/strong>, a quartet offering a repertoire inspired by the music of early 20th-century Barcelona.<\/p> \n\n

That same day, at 10:30 p.m.<\/strong>, the Palau de Congressos hosts the first major concert of the festival, featuring pianist and composer Michel Camilo<\/strong>. The musician will present a performance that blends contemporary jazz, the rhythmic energy of the Caribbean, and a highly intense piano technique.<\/p> \n\n

The program continues on Friday, July 3rd<\/strong>, at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong>, with Tuscan trumpeter and composer Franco Baggiani<\/strong>, who will perform in Pla\u00e7a de Santa Mar\u00eda with free admission. His program, in a quartet format, is dedicated to the electric period of Miles Davis<\/strong>.<\/p> \n\n

At 10:30 p.m.<\/strong>, the Palau de Congressos welcomes The International Classic Jazz All Stars<\/strong>, a group comprised of leading musicians from the international classic jazz scene, characterized by their cosmopolitan profile and high level of performance.<\/p> \n\n

On Saturday, July 4<\/strong>, at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong>, Sergio Bisbal & BS Community Band<\/strong> will perform in Plaza de Santa Mar\u00eda. Led by drummer Sergio Bisbal, the group combines traditional jazz with touches of soul, funk, and free improvisation.<\/p> \n\n

Later that evening, at 10:30 p.m.<\/strong>, the Jove Big Band Sedajazz<\/strong>, a group of 23 young musicians from the Sedajazz collective, will take to the Palau de Congressos.<\/p> \n\n

The final day of the festival, Sunday, July 5<\/strong>, begins at 7:30 p.m.<\/strong> with a free performance by the Ernie Orts Jazz Quartet<\/strong> in Plaza de Santa Mar\u00eda. The saxophonist returns to jazz with a stable band and a repertoire that combines original compositions, reinterpretations of standards, and pieces rooted in the traditions of jazz and bossa nova.<\/p> \n\n

The closing of this 23rd edition<\/strong> will take place at 10:30 p.m.<\/strong> at the Palau de Congressos with French pianist Thomas Enhco<\/strong>, one of the most prominent international acts on the program, who will present a concert built on the dialogue between jazz and classical music.<\/p> \n\n
